Weapons/Abilities: Penelo's weapons are generally staffs or bows. Bows because she likes to avoid confrontation, and staffs to help her with magic. Her abilities range from strong White magic (i.e. Curaja, Arise, Holy, Esunaga, and Regen) to Green magic (i.e. Protega, Shellga, Hastega, Bravery, and Faith). She knows only the basic Black magic, just in case.
Let's not forget her Quickenings...
- Intercession- She spins in a circle as energy collects in a ball, she aims her attack at the monster or whatever and the energy ball shoot out blasts that hurt quite a bit.
- Evanescence- She spins in a circle again, much like Intercession, but this energy is much Lighter and collects around her body. Her spinning is actually what collects the energy and when she stops, with just a point of her hand, all the energy collected will shoot at what she aims for.
- Resplendence- It is her strongest ability. It works best in Snow, but it works fine in other climates. She moves around, the range of this attak is maybe twenty feet at the most. Time will freeze for only a moment, where she will reach out and touch an almost invisible screen, which will crack and those fragments will do a very lot of damage to all those in range.

History:Born and raised in Rabanastre, Penelo always felt better in a crowd then by herself. Her mother and father both raised her to be a nice and caring girl, while her brother taught her how to fight. As a result, Penelo has a huge urge to protect everyone around her and keep them extremely happy. The one person that gets her protection most is her 'adopted brother' Vaan. She adores him like a brother and would do absolutely anything for him. And one day, he just happened to get into big trouble with the Imperial guards and Penelo did all she could to get him, but Migelo, her boss, kept her too busy. Then before she knew it, she was kidnapped by Ba'Gamnan, a bounty hunter who was after a man Vaan was with. She was taken to Bhujerba where she was held by Ba'Gamnan and his men. Soon enough, Vaan and two characters rescued her.
She was extremely thankful for what the two did to get her, and she made the decision to stay with Vaan instead of return to Rabanastre because Vaan certainly didn't want to. It was with Vaan, Balthier, Basch, and Fran that Penelo met Ashe who was surprisingly the Princess of Dalmasca. The entire party got sucked into going with Ashe on a wild goose chase across Ivalice to restore her birthright as princess. Penelo had second thoughts about all of this , but because Vaan wanted to go, she went.
They managed to procure whatever it was Ashe was looking for but got taken prisoner on the Leviathon, one of Archadia's best fleet ships. One of the Magisters who had captured them was going to kill them using the Dawn Shard, Ashe's proof of heritage, when a stone Penelo had--given by her new friend Larsa (who happened to be a prince himself)--saved them all by taking away the stone's magic. The Magister had them taken away and experimented on the Shard, but something went wrong and the stone destroyed the Leviathan.
The party barely managed to get away aboard Balthier's sky ship the Straahl. They got away but their journey wasn't over. Because the Shard lost it's power, Ashe needed another one, and they also had questions as to the power of the Stones. So they headed to Jakarta, and sought an audience with the Elder there. Larsa returned to them, much to Penelo's delight, with news that they could seek the Gramis on Mount Bur Omisace, he could proclaim Ashe's birthright as Princess and they could stop the Rossarian attack from every happening over Dalmasca. The party set out once again.
Through more difficult events, they finally managed to return Ashe to her Princess stature. Vaan and Penelo stuck with their new group of 'family' until the very end, where they did succeed in putting a stop to the evil tyrant Vayne Solidor, before he could start the war he wanted so badly. Backed by the rouge Occuria, it was a difficult task and they almost lost Larsa in the process, but they pulled through and peace was restored. Larsa would become the knew leader of Archadia and Ashe would be Queen of Dalmasca and the two would become strong allies. Rossaria would halt their attack, under the influence of Al Cid and Vaan and Penelo could return to their peaceful life in Rabanastre. Vaan, however, wanted to be a sky pirate and because of the unfortunate loss of Balthier and Fran, they had a ship. Penelo went with Vaan for two years as a sky pirate. She kept in touch with Larsa because he had found a warm place in her heart, as well as Ashe who she thought of like a sister.
One day, however, they found the Straahl was mysteriously gone, a note of from none other than Balthier was left in it's place. Now that Vaan and Penelo have no ship, they just wander around the world with no real direction in mind, unless, of course, they could find a ship. It wasn't long, however, that they procured another airship. And then they were the leaders of the sky, having crazy adventures and doing what they pleased.
On one such adventure, to some old ruins with Balthier and Fran, their air ship was destroyed and they were separated from their older cohorts. They returned to Rabanastre without a ship, and met up with their old friends Kytes and Filo, two orphans the two knew from way back. As it turns out they did some growing up...
An odd skyship lands outside of Rabanastra, and Vaan wouldn't be who he was if he didn't want it. He climbed aboard without telling Penelo, but of course she knew what he was up to, and after a tussle with Ba'Gamnan they were flying magically towards this flying land no one had been to before; Lemures. It was the home of a rare and thought extinct breed of Humes; Aeryl. They had wings!
Only they didn't like Vaan and Penelo much because with them a bunch of sky pirates showed up and started looting the place. Then this one chick, calling herself a Judge, shows up and starts to destroy the Auraliths, which are these crystals that are connected to the land of Illusion where the Yuri come from. If this Judge destroyed all three Auraliths, the god would return to Lemures and destroy everything, including Ivalice so many miles below them.
And they just couldn't let her get away with that. So, Penelo, Vaan, Filo, Kytes, Tomaj, Lluyd, Ashe, Bashe, Fran, and Balthier all team up, once again for most of them, to take down this threat. And....
They do, believe it or not. They save the world from being overrun by this really evil guy that would do really evil things (that isn't Vayne Solidor) and everyone is happily ever after. Penelo and Vaan ride off into the sunset for another worldwind adventure, because that was what Sky Pirates do.
HOWEVER. This crazy stuff happened and the two of them were separated, and now Penelo is off kelter, and off her planet. I mean, what the crap is going on here, right?

RP Sample: I know that rock is familiar...oh wait. There is the arrow I scratched into it an hour ago. Drat. Over her shoulder she could still see the giant and snow-capped mountain she landed on, as well as the lingering smoke stack of her destroyed airship. This giant...Behemoth of an animal swatted her right out of the air! She was lucky to be alive, and to have been able to salvage most of her possessions....HOWEVER. She didn't have a map or a compass...or any hope at all.
She let herself fall against the spire in the ground, which really looked like some giant horn than a natural rock formation, and she looked around again. This place went on for ages. She couldn't exactly see a way out of it...at all.
It was just at that helpless moment when a...landmachine zoomed by her, with what she knew to be a Hume. "Thank the Goddess!" She sprang to her feet and ran after it, flailing her arms. She didn't bother shouting because the roar of it's motors would surely drown out her voice. The machine banked to the left and turned so it was headed back in her direction. It slowed to a stop in front of her and then the person, clad in green, jumped off.
She couldn't even begin to understand the garble that the chick was saying, but she tried her best. She pointed to the sky where the smoke was and gestured a rather terrifying crash and then she pointed to herself and raised and lifted her shoulders. The person took off their goggles and looked her straight in the eyes...
and then laughed.
