The Cavern of the Stolen Fayth...a simple cave that was turned into so much more...that was Seymour's current destination. It was possible that, even if the Fayth disappeared, that there would be some sort of power left behind by the Fayth. And if Seymour could absorb that power, than both he and Anima would become more powerful. Yet the rumors that the Fayth had disappeared along with Sin seemed farfetched, for Anima was still able to be invoked. Seymour would have to see it to believe it.
As he stood at the entrance of the cave, he looked around him. It was no doubt that the High Summoner had been here before, and that sickened him. Normally, he wouldn't even dream of using a power that the girl had used, but circumstances were dire. "He turned and faced the entrance. "It's time." he said out loud, walking intothe cave.
The first thing he noticed was the feeling that he was being watched at all times. His Guado side told him that many fiends were in this cave, and that he could be attacked at any time. He held his staff at the ready, in case a battle undertook without warning. He was also prepared to summon Anima at a moment's notice. But what he failed to do was check to make sure that no one had followed him as he ventured deeper into the cave...
(Mehh...I've done better.)

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines World-hopping (if you could call it that, considering the fact that Sora can't rely on Gummi ship to travel anymore) is not a very fun thing. It's not necessarily enjoyable, if you add in the factor that Sora isn't in-control of this horrid little the thing, but then again - since when was anything you didn't want enjoyable?
First thing's first: Sora's been through, so far, two different 'worlds', if, again, you could call it that. He's not sure if they're the same worlds and only in different continents, or if they're just figments of his imagination with him being played with once more by the cast of Nobodies, but they're still plenty horrible ordeals. The last world he was in had an apple (cruelly) taken away from him by a fellow keyblader he didn't know existed. The world before that involved him meeting someone new: someone he thought he'd be able to stay with for an adventure, like Donald and Goofy. This world can't be judged yet - as Sora's only got here, and he isn't even entirely certain whether this is another place, yet again, or he's been kidnapped. That last option seems nearly impossible, but Sora recalls that lately, he's become a heavier and heavier sleeper. Not even Riku calling him an idiot wakes him up anymore.
When his eyes open, they first register the dim lighting in whatever area he's in. Sora's lips press together for a brief moment, and he's not sure if he's mistaken or not, but there's a big light a couple of meters away that might signify the exit of the (he's sure of it) cave. The keyblade wielder stands, wincing a little with the stiffness in his body after sleeping on a cold, hard surface - and then when he gets to his feet his ears pick up a tiny trace of sound: and it sounds an awful lot like a human being. Sora quickly scrambles back down onto the ground, attempting to keep his breathing heavy, afraid that it might be the people who kidnapped him. If they knew he was awake, then he'd give away his position. Giving that away could make or break his escape, as well.
It's with these thoughts in mind that Sora keeps silent, even when the strange person (with blue hair that scarily reminds him of Aqua) walks past him. The brunette's sure that the stranger's far enough away when he slowly gets to his feet, flicking his wrist and getting his keyblade to materialize in his hand. Sora narrows his eyes at his target, licking his lips in preparation, and runs--
--the other way.

Even though the boy waited until Seymour was a ways away, he still picked up on him running. Wheeling around, he pointed his staff and said, "Halt! Who's there?" He got a glimpse of brown hair and started running back towards the exit. As he exited, he raised his staff, which had suddenly glowed red for a brief moment, and caused a wall of fire to block the boy's escape. "I will not hurt you if you comply." said Seymour, observing Sora. "Why were you behind me in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth? Who sent you here?"
A few different ideas on who the boy could be went through his head. He could be another ex-summoner looking for the Fayth, one of Yevon's followers searching the cavern or even someone who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But then Seymour noticed the weapon in the boy's hand. It was a...key? Seymour thought this strange and waited for the boys response to who he was.
(If Sora tried, he could most likely jump the fire wall. It's short, but still intimadating. :3)

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines Suddenly the man's shouting after him, and Sora's eyes widen as he attempts to speed up - short legs falling out of his favor at this point. Although he'd gladly fight the man any other day, he barely even knows him; and what if he'd kidnapped him simply because he needed someone to pay a ransom so he could feed his family, since they were all poor cabbage farmers? It would be horrible if Sora ended up making them have no means for money, since nobody would buy cabbages anymore, since everyone was into carrots now.
"No-one's here-- ah!"
Sora can't stop the shout that leaves him when a wall of fire blocks his path - and he knows that he can jump over it, but would he really flee, considering the fact that this strange man with the blue hair wanted to speak to him? His body whirls a hundred and eighty degrees, slightly incredulous blue eyes taking in the figure of the man before him. He lets a little smile appear on his face, the words that leave the man's lips going through one ear and out the other with him, and then rubs his arm as if to emphasize his genuine sheepishness. He looks to the side for a brief moment, his gaze drifting, before he looks back at the male and lets a little expression of honesty fall onto his face. He'll answer those questions one at a time. "I'm... Sora," he says, picking at invisible dirt on the hem of his half-jacket. "I don't know why I'm here, but, uh, the name of that.. cave? Cavern of the Stolen Fayth? That's cool." It's pathetic, attempting to make small-talk in a situation like this, but Sora can't help it. The boy moves to rub the back of his neck, a little grin appearing on his face. "And, uh, you? Nice weather we're having, huh?" Awkward laughter slips past his lips, and Sora prays for his safety deep within the recesses of his soul.[/blockquote] TAGGED seymour >:3 WORDS threethreeseven. (LOL, 'tis okay.)
This boy was trapped by somene with Seymour's skill, and he was talking about the weather. If there was one thing this boy wasn't, it was a threat. Seymour lifted his staff once again, dousing the fires, and bowed to the boy in the common Spiran gesture. "Forgive me for mistaking you as an enemy. I am Maester Seymour Guado. " The boy looked sheepish, but also had the posture of someone who fought many battles in his time. "Hmm...perhaps you can help me with something." said Seymour, a plan forming in his mind. "As I have told you, that is the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. Inside it is a statue called the Fayth. I am looking for that statue, but I feel that I can not do it alone. Would you be willing to help? I would be glad to answer your questions while we search." Seymour crossed his arms and looked at the boy, pieceing the plan together in his head.
But he didn't get a chance to get the whole plan set up. As if it were destined to interrupt his thinking, a large fiend dropped down from the cliffs above, a good 20 feet to Seymour's right. The fiend lookedlike a suit of armor and held a giant sword. (FYI, the fiend is an Iron Giant. I couldn't get a pic. :3) As it landed, two Yellow Elements floated down next to it. "Well, it looks as if our search will be delayed." said Seymour, lifting his staff and readying for battle.

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines Sora blinks at this, before shrugging his shoulders. "That's fine,"
he says, laughing a little. "I didn't think I looked threatening in the least, though." A brief moment of thinking occurs, in which our hero rubs his chin in thought, before his brain fully processes and recalls that there is someone else before him. A name registers in his head, a foreign-sounding one, and Sora's lips slowly mouth it before his voice decides to join in. "Seymour, huh?" he murmurs to himself, despite the fact that he isn't heard. He repeats the name, over and over, in his head - in order to get used to the fact that the man with the blue hair's name is Seymour. He's barely listening, in fact, the moving lips of the older male not making an impression on him. Sora's entire body snaps, however, in a strange move that briefly resembled a dance, and his eyes shifted to look at what had fallen to the ground. His mouth opens, agape in a little 'o' shape, and then his fingers curl tighter around the keyblade. "Search?" Sora's voice lets this out against his will, but that's quickly forgotten when, as he turns to look at Seymour for confirmation, he sees the staff he's holding move in order to prepare for battle. So this is really a fight, huh? And so early... his mind thinks, a little regrettably, but that's quickly forgotten as he gets into fighting stance himself - his eyes widening when two unidentified objects fall beside the large fighter. "... Great." It's with this that Sora runs, fearless and quick, towards the monsters; two hands gripping the keyblade as he jumps and delivers the first hit to the large.. thingy, whose name escapes him. He quickly somersaults backward, using the keyblade to create a spring against the body of the giant; his shoes skidding against the ground as he stops and looks up. "What is that thing made of? Seymour sighed, reveling at this boy's ignorance. "Get back and let me take care of this." said Seymour, his demeanor calm. He took a deep breath and swung his staff horizontally, causing four orbs to fly into the sky. (Meh, I don't wanna type out the whole summoning thing, so I'll end it here.) After the summoning was complete, Anima stood in front of Seymour, roaring. Her demonic stature was quite intimidating, and Seymour guessed that the boy probably jumped when Anima looked at him. "Relax, he is an ally." said the Guado, facing the fiends. Anima faced the same way, and at a gesture from Seymour, started distorting the space around her, firing it like darts at the fiends. The Iron Giant took a direct hit, which left a dent in its chest, and the Yellow Elements, being weaker than the giant, took less damage, but enough to eliminate them. Anima roared in joy and started charging her power for another attack.
As she did so, Seymour stepped in front of the Aeon, blocking the giant from attacking. But apparently it was content in hitting him. It rose its sword and hit Seymour with the flat of it, knocking him back a good 10 yards and fracturing a ew of his ribs. He clutched his side and cast a Cura spell on himself, which would take time. Time in which, hopefully, the boy would attack the giant next.

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines For the first time in a long time, Sora feels virtually useless as the older male tells him to stand back. A look of pure disbelief blooms in those blue orbs of his, before he realizes that the blue-haired one is being serious, and despite his general uneasiness of letting a poor cabbage farmer fight on his own, Sora steps back obediently nonetheless - the fingers around his keyblade loosening a little in their grip. When Seymour's hands move and some four orbs lift into the sky, Sora is tempted to call out a little is that it? - but is stopped when he ends up tripping over an unidentified rock or pebble. It was a downside to walking backwards, and when Sora scrambles to his feet once more, there's this eerie, creepy shaking in the ground.
"... Whoa!"
The brunette literally has to try to keep himself from jumping out of his skin, eyes wide in sheer amazement when the huge giant thing attacks the monster made of metal - something clearly different from the Heartless Sora is used to attacking. Sora's hands curl tighter around the key he holds, his footsteps taking him backward a tad, almost afraid that the giant would think him to be something of an enemy, much like its (was it a he? Or a she?) owner had. Sora's breath shivers when Seymour tells him not to fear, and he nods absentmindedly, his words having been taken away from him in the sheer awe that courses through his body. How could anyone be capable of such power? Sora's thoughts are interrupted in their trail when the summoned beast changes something; Sora nearly blown away at the sheer impossibility of it. It's so big, and so strong - and the knowledge of the fact that the one controlling it is human, just like Sora, makes him all the more amazed. If someone like a little cabbage farmer has power like this, then what more the Lords and Ladies, or the ones that are equivalent to the Keyblade Warriors of Sora's dimension? The spiky-haired brunette is about to remark on it when he sees the summoned thing begin charging, and Seymour blocking it from attack. Sora notes the posture of the enemy, the dent in its chest clearly annoying it somewhat. That's not good. "Wai--!" Sora has no time to be heard, however, as the iron thingamajigger (for lack of a better word) brushes Seymour away like he was as light as a feather. "Seymour!" He calls, about to cast a Curaga spell himself, before noticing that the male was already tending to his wounds. The enemy, in turn, moves its gaze to the beast charging its attack - and since Seymour had to protect it, then Sora had to, too... Right?Sora lifts his keyblade into the air, a bright light appearing; his clothing taking on a redder hue as another keyblade appears in his free hand. He spares one last glance at Seymour before he rushes forward, speed having increased tenfold after coming into his Valor form, and he attacks - red sparks of electricity coming from his hands, which glow in an almost ominous, crimson light. "Hah!" he shouts, keyblade moving quicker than his eyes can follow; his arms unaffected by the strength and speed of his hits. Sora's learned to activate his various Drive forms without the accompaniment of Goofy and Donald, and when he finishes one combo he falls down - the speed at which his attacks had been executed having defied gravity. There are various marks of destruction in the weakened monster, and Sora deactivates the form - his clothing turning back to their regular hue, his eyes drifting towards Seymour; waiting for the go signal for him to move away.[/blockquote] TAGGED seymour >:3 WORDS sixthreeoh. As Seymour finished the healing, he had finished healing and Anima had finished charging. She roared to let him know it was time, and he got up, once again walking by Anima's side. A portal opened on the battlefield and absorbed everything in it. Suddenly, the scenery seemed to change to that of a temporal rift, and something began to grow below Anima. Seymour smiled, as Anima began her ultimate attack, Oblivion. The thing fully materialized, seeming to be a slightly altered form of Anima. The thing rose its hands, which were shackled together, and pushed against the chains, breaking them with ease. It then lunged at the giant, repeatedly punching the being. 16 blows was how many hit, and the other Anima disappeared, the battlefield returning to normal. By then, the fiend was a cloud of pyreflies, defeated by Oblivion. Seymour then turned to the boy and gestured for him to come closer. "It is okay, she is a friend." Anima looked at the boy, and Seymour could sense her curiosity emenating from her mind.

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines Sora finds his eyes widening when the surroundings morph into something else, blue optics blinking profusely in sheer amazement. This has never happened to him before, or at least happened to him because of someone he's come to consider an ally. The spiky-haired male quickly runs back to a safer position when something else comes before the summoned beast - his heart beating quickly in his ribcage in the sheer knowledge that something big's about to happen. It's when he sees a second monster that his eyes nearly bug out of his sockets, Sora unable to believe that anyone would have the power to summon two of such a large creature. What the heck's happening..?
his mind whispers, the boy's throat going dry. Sora watches. He learns. Sixteen hits. That's all it takes for the large thing to destroy a monster he barely scathed in his Valor form. Sixteen hits. Sora's suddenly struck with a feeling of weakness, a seed of determination being planted into his heart. If he can be beaten by something large like this when he's defeated a good deal of enemies in his time, then what kind of warrior is he? The youth sucks in his lower lip, just as the surroundings return to its regular form. He's sick of feeling sorry for himself. Seymour calls him, then, the words not processing in his head properly. Sora's head lifts upward to face the supposed cabbage farmer, his lips forming a cheerful little smile. It's a well-practiced facade, something Sora has mastered after so and so years of pretending that everything's okay with him. "She's a big friend," he says, teasing a little, large shoes taking him towards the older male. Sora's about to say something else when the summoned thing turns its gaze on him, the brunette freezing in his tracks, thinking he'd be blasted. That isn't true, however, and he lets out a breath he doesn't know he's holding, Sora's footsteps taking him closer to the large thing. "Hey.. there," he says to the entity, not knowing its name; a hand lifting in a bit of a friendly wave. "I'm.. uh. So the boy was braver than he had acted earlier...Seymour found this interesting. He watched as the boy-who had called himself "Sora"-rose a hand to Anima, as if trying to get an animal to trust him. Anima noticed this as well, yet ignored it, pushing against her chains to touch the boy with her outer shell. Seymour felt a surge of happiness come from the Aeon, and she looked at Sora and Seymour once more before dismissing herself, turning into a cloud of pyreflies and floating off.
Seymour then walked up to the boy and said, "What you just witnessed is a creature called an Aeon. When certian humans die, yet still want to make a difference in the world, they were able to be turned into statues called Fayth. The Fayth would react to summoners, like me, and grant them the power to summon Aeons, like Anima there. Aeons are powerful, yet they have limits on their powers." He looked at the boy and said, "In that cavern, supposedly, is one of those Fayth, and I will need help finding it. Will you help me?"

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines When the giant touches him, Sora's heart flutters. He's never felt so amazed in his life, other than for that one time when he met a talking dog and a duck with anger issues. A little smile lifts onto his face at the gesture the beast gives him, about to return the little bout of affection when it disappears. His eyes widen in slight horror, mind trying to whirl about and think of a logical explanation to the sudden disappearance, but is interrupted in his musings when Seymour steps forward and speaks once more, his voice a nice little rumble.
Aeon, Fayth, Summoners.
'So Seymour isn't a cabbage farmer after all' is the first thing that crosses Sora's mind, before he realizes that perhaps a man as smartly dressed as him could not possibly be a cabbage farmer who needed a pretty little brunette boy for ransom. Sora's almost disappointed that he wasn't kidnapped and that this is simply him being transported to yet another world, but the disappoint wears away when he recalls that Seymour has said something of one of those 'Fayths' supposedly resting within the cave. An eyebrow quirks upward in slight curiosity, Sora being generally unsure of abandoning the mission he has to get back to Destiny Islands in one piece, and he flicks his wrist, the keyblade disappearing in a small burst of light. The boy bites on the inside of his cheek, a conflict beginning to surge from the confines of his heart to fully bloom. He looks at the older male, before grinning optimistically, his undeniable instinct of helping others beginning to show through the apprehension in his mind. "Okay," he says with a nod, not at all minding the fact that he and Seymour could possibly be in some sort of danger - the fact that it could be perpetual sliding past Sora's common sense. The keyblade warrior had learned that danger meant nothing, and that he'll get over it, anyway. He learned that the hard way. Seymour smiled, a rare thing for him when it came genuinely. With this boy's help, salvation could still be brought to the people of Spira. He beckoned with a finger and said, "Follow me." He entered the cave mouth and looked, studying the tunnels that he could choose from there were four tunnels, but Seymour looked to oly one-time middle left one. He sensed that there were less quantities of fiends in there, and waited for the boy to enter the cave.
From the other caves came the roars, snarls, and howls of fiends. Anyone who was not used to it would be scared out of their skin, but it just passed right through it, who gave it no more thought than breathing.

i've seen the tears and the heartaches and i feltBAD I'VE SEEN AHEAD & SO MANY LIVES WERElost in vain. and, yet, through this darkness, there's always a light that shines The smile, though not necessarily a large one, comes as a surprise to the young keyblader. Seymour looked the type of person who didn't smile much, if at all, and Sora feels this little swell of honor at the knowledge that he caused the not-a-cabbage-farmer to smile. The movement of his digit alerts Sora of the beginning of their adventure, the boy's lips curving into a wide grin of his own as he follows obediently. Sora's always been the leader during his adventures, he comes to note, but his sense of direction had always been rather horrible. He's under the impression that Seymour knows where he's going, and he really hopes so, since getting lost isn't really on Sora's number one priority list.
His footsteps become light, since the strange echoing of it in the darkness is a little creepy sounding. Although the only people are him and Seymour (most likely), Sora can't help but think the sounds of his steps make him seem like a bit of a stalker.
Then the roaring starts.
It's nothing too bad, Sora supposing that the noises aren't necessarily as terrifying as the ones the monsters in his dreams make - and the male walks onward as easily as Seymour does. Of course, he has this little fear of the dark, but the knowledge that he isn't alone in this dreary cave comforts him a little. If he's lucky, the heartless won't pop out of nowhere, searching for skin to scratch; for blood to drink. He wouldn't want Seymour to fall into the curse Sora's been given to take care of, after all.

(Edit: LOL, I accidentaly posted this on the wrong profile. Oh well! ) "Of course I do, Sora. This is the path with the least fiends down it. It would not be a good idea for us to fight any more fiends." said Seymour, walking down the tunnel, staff pointed ahead. They traversed through many tunnels, and didn't once fight a fiend. (Time lapse) Eventually the duo reached an empty chamber which only had one tunnel (besides teh one they had entered from. Seymour started to walk foreward, but stopped. Why did he feel like...something big was going to happen? He looked around, trying to find the source of his feeling. Almost at cue, pyreflies floated from the shadows and formed the shape of a Summoner. "Leave this place or be destroyed..." said the spirit, raising her staff. From the tunnel on the other end of the room walked a dog-like creature and an Aeon. Seymour smirked, pleased with this finding. "It appears we have found the Aeon." he said, raising his staff.
