The group of travelers that could be spotted coming from Macalania's direction. They were a strange group, two Guado and a cloaked figure. The Guado walked slightly in front of the man, seeming to be bodyguards. The man himself wore a simple priest's robe, but the man underneath was less than simple. It was Seymour, disguised so he may travel from temple to temple unseen on his quest for the dark Aeons. So far, he had travelled to the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth, and was now heading towards Djose. He had skipped Macalania's temple because the Guado told him that the Fayth had disappeared.
The group started heading in the direction of the Shopuffs, intending to catch a ride over the river. As they were lifted on, Seymour noticed that there was another passenger on the creature. He looked from under the edge of the hood, seeing who it was. The brown-haired girl, who was looking down, looked familiar, but Seymour couldn't place her. Then she looked up and Seymour almost fell off the shopuff. It was Braska's child, the High Summoner! He looked down, hoping she wouldn't talk to him, and also fought the urge to push her off the Shopuff and drown her. Yet he knew he would be noticed, and held his staff tight.

You took my ♥ HEART ♥ x x DECIEVED me right from the start. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuna had been traveling by herself for a few days, on a quest to find out why new summoners were not recieving their aeons. It made no sense to her as to why this sort of thing would be happening, after a brief meeting with Lulu and the others in Besaid not even a week before. Yuna told them she would meet up with them soon, of course when she mentioned this little trip to Brother he took a hairy fit. Saying it was too dangerous for precious Yuna to be traveling alone, honestly how old did he think she was. And it was funny right, she usually never traveled without Rikku and Paine. So where was the former high summoner heading now, she was headed to Guadosalam. Though so caught up in her own thoughts, she might be going the wrong way. She had heard from Gippal something about wierd happenings with the Farplane. Yuna herself had been there quite a few times, just what was going on. Deciding to take a ride over the Moonflow on a Shopuff, she smiled to the owner and took her seat. She had also left Tidus behind with Lulu and Wakka as well, she had been overwhelmed with emotion when she saw he was alive. There was just not enough thanks she could say to the Fayths for giving him back to her, the Moonflow. It brought back so many memories for her. It had been a place where Tidus and her had shared their first kiss, swimming in the shimmering waters without a care. As she waited for the ferryman to start moving, Yuna didn't notice just yet of the new passengers which boarded. Feeling the hairs on the back of her neck stick up, there was than a shudder down her back. It was then she slowly turned her head, glancing just to the side of her. Two bodyguards she assumed and a cloaked figure, those bodyguards looked as if they were guados. But it wasn't them she was focused on, her multi-colored gaze tryed to see under the cloak. For a distinct momment, she thought she saw what looked like blue hair. Yuna could feel her face turning pale, as she quickly glanced away. No it couldn't be, there was no way it could be him. She had sent him to the Farplane when she was still a summoner. Unless because the Farplane is acting up, and the Fayths words are slowly disappearing that people are being sent back. If this was who she thought it was, this meant he was no longer dead. And Shuyin and Lenne, they could also come back. Even.......her father. No this can't happen, it would throw everything out of balance in Spira. And her marriage to that horrid guado was never anulled, so if it was him who was sitting there she was still his wife. Like hell she was going to accept that, she was forced into that marriage with lies and deciet. Yuna loved Tidus, sliding her hand down to her guns she slowly stood up and took them out aiming them at the cloaked figure. "If your who I think you are, you have some nerve crawling back into this world".[/blockquote]

Eyes narrowing at the girl's statement, he lowered his staff and looked at her for a moment before gesturingto his bodyguards and standing. "Perhaps that is so." said Seymour, his guards standing as well. "But I don't intend to return to the Farplane." Quickly, hepulled back his hood, looked the former Summoner in the eyes and rose his staff, preparing a spell.
Yet, when it charged, it wasn't the Summoner he shot it at. He turned, aimed at the river, and fired a Blizzara spell, creating a 5-foot platform of ice that froze down to the lakebed. He and his guards jumped down to that and stood, ready for battle. Seymour could feel the bodyguards preparing their defensive spells, and he smiled, focusing on absorbing the pyreflies that covered the Moonflow.
But, in the time that took, it would be the Summoner's turn.

As she stood on the Shopuff, Yuna never took her eyes off the cloaked figure for one second. The feeling she got from this person felt familiar, and it made her grip her guns tighter. Her eyes than snapped to the staff which he held in his hands, so her suspision had been correct. This man was Seymour, the one person she had never wanted to see again. He had made her life so miserable, forced her to marry him all because he thought it would be helping Spira. It had been nothing but a lie, so how dare he........how dare he come back. The matter with the farplane must be dealt with quickly, to avoid any further people coming back. That's why she needed to head to Guadosalam, there was something ill going on in Spira and she was going to get to the bottom of it one way or another. When he stood up, his guards stood as well. And as he pulled down his hood, all Yuna could do was stare in shock. "I couldn't send you back even if I tryed, I am no longer a summoner. I gave up that path, as soon as Sin was defeated". But she could kill him, and find someone else to send him back. Though how would that help, if the farplane was acting strange he might just return. Watching Seymour raise his staff, she got into a battle stance but instead of shooting a blizzara spell at her. The former summoner watched as he aimed it at the lake, freezing it and making a platform. Yuna than watched as they jumped down, she wasn't going to let him get away that easy. Jumping up into the air, she did a front flip and landed in a crouching position in front of them. Standing up she knew she would need to keep on her toes, charging up her guns she fired an array of attacks at the guards before taking out a sphere and activating it to change into a black mage. If he wanted to fight magic with magic, so be it. There was no way Yuna was going to back down, although she was no longer a summoner she had a few new tricks up her sleeves. A ring of fire surrounded her as she now stood in a black mage outfit, staff in hand and charging up to cast Fira. Of course Seymour now had a chance to attack, since spells took time to charge up.[/blockquote]

So, she had given up summoning. Seymour smiled at that, but frowned because his guards were injured. He waved his staff at them and healed most of their wounds, at the cost of only being able to cast a half-power offensive spell. "I am surprised that you gave it up so easily, where as I am embracing it." He spread his arms wide and said, "With the power of the Dark Aeons at my disposal, nothing will be able to stop me! Once again will my dream of salvation for Spira come true!" HE laughed, then lowered his staff, pointing it at Yuna. "But first I must eliminate my biggest obstacles. And the first shall be you." As he said that, he cast a Watera spell at her, hitting her with multiple tendrils of water taken from the river. As he did that, he saw a magical barrier cover him and knew his bodyguards had cast their spells at him.
But another problem arose. As the river flowed around the giant ice floe that had been created, it melted the ice ever so gradually under the surface. None of the Guado were aware of this, but the floe would probably last about another 15 minutes before collapsing. (OOC: Approx. 5 posts)

So she had given up summoning, what purpose did she have to stay one. Yuna had done her job, she had defeated Sin with the help of the final Aeon. So what buisness was it of his, he didn't run her life nor did he have the authority to tell her what to do anymore. She was not the naive person she was back than, she was older and stronger......and wiser. Her father lost his life after defeating Sin the first time, sacrificing himself to stop the suffering of Spira. And Yuna had done that as well, but she had kept her life. Frowning lightly when he healed his guards, she narrowed her eyes at Seymour. Given it up so easily, she didn't choose to give it up. Her whole pilgrimage she set out on was to collect the aeons, and defeat Sin. "You have no right to judge me, I will end you". Her voice did seem to shake abit, listening to the guado as he spoke. Did he say Dark Aeons, but that can't be right. YRP had defeated the dark ones in their search for the spheres. How did Seymour come to obtain something which was destroyed, was he so blinded by power that he could not see that Spira has changed. As she set to cast Fira at him, Yuna watched as he pointed his staff at her. "Am I such a big obstacle, then come at me with all you have I will not back down". She saw the spell watera being cast, and quickly raising her staff she felt the force of the spell hit her hard. Stumbling back abit, she groaned from the sheer power of the spell. Soaked she quickly retaliated with Fira, casting the flames towards Seymour. But the spell seemed to bounce off him, no.......a magical barrier. She couldn't risk to do another sphere change at the momment, Yuan then felt the ice starting to shift under her feet abit but said nothing. Did they know what was happening, if she had to estimate. This ice would melt completely within the next 15 minutes, and that didn't give her enough time to defeat Seymour. Changing spheres drained her energy alot, tipping the mages hat she quickly reverted back to her gunner outfit. "Am I such a burden to you Seymour, you lied to me. You decieved me, and forced me to marry you. You haunted my dreams, why can't you just leave me alone".[/blockquote]

"My reason for eliminatig you," said Seymour with a frown, "is revenge. The time I spent in the Farplane was torture. Now I want you to feel that pain." With those words, he turned at the sound of one of his bodyguards yelling out and falling over. He noticed the blood coming from the Guado's wound and knew that the Guado had died. Pyreflies came from the body, and Seymour had to act quick to absorb them. At the same time, his Shell barrier was uncast, leaving him only with Protect.
After the pyreflies were absorbed into his staff, he rose it, four orbs shooting into the sky. The hook that emerged slammed into the ice and pulled Anima from a dark portal. As Anima came up, she roared and saw Yuna. She hesitated, but roared in rage when she saw the Guado's body. She knew what a gun was, and what the wound was like. She saw that Yuna held guns, and began to charge her Oblivion spell. In a good two turns, this battle could all be over. As she did that, the other bodyguard cast a thundara spell on Yuna, which slightly hit her, but mostly missed. Seymour began focusing his powers again, trying to make his spells as powerful as they could be. Pyreflies from all oer the river flew into his body, and he could feel the old temptation to change his form welling...but he didn't. He saved the energy for his next attack, and waited it out.

His reason for eliminating her, is revenge for the time he spent in the farplane. It had been her duty to send the pyreflies of the dead to the farplane, to guide the souls so they wouldn't get lost. How could one feel torture there, it was suppose to be a place of peace and serenity. It wasn't her fault he had felt tortured there, that he couldn't let his soul find peace. "You caused nothing but grief in Spira, I had to send you". Again she gripped her guns tightly, everything she had done as a summoner she had done for the better good of her Spira. Seymour had been killed by her groups hand, and yet he didn't want to be sent. She knew he was unsent when he married her, and through her journey until the end he caused her nothing but heartache. Quickly turning her gaze to one of the guards, falling over from the wound he had suffered. Seeing Seymour absorb the pyreflies, something told her this was going to be bad. And Yuna was right, seeing him rise his staff into the sky she saw the familiar hook dig down to the ground. And the familiar aeon Anima came up, though the former summoner could see she was hesitant at first. Though one glance at the guado's fallen body, Yuna could see her charging up her Oblivion spell. She couldn't do this alone, she needed help......someone. She then felt the surge of a thundara spell nick her, but it missed her as well. *I can't fight him alone, I need help. But no one I know is near.*If she stayed, she would be a sitting duck and dead. If she tryed to run, what would he do. It seemed he was too focused on casting spells, and aborbing pyreflies. Wait she could use her special sphere, it would drain her energy alot but she couldn't just stand here not doing anything. Nodding she took out her special sphere that was only used by her, activating it she transformed inside a big bud then emerged in a floral form. She knew she was vulnerable in this form to attacks, but she needed to end this battle in any way she could. Bringing her hands in the center near her chest, she charged up for a attack called Great Whirl which would take one turn to unleash.[/blockquote] (Just look up on ff wiki for a pic of her floral fallal, too lazy to post a pic XD)

Of course the girl would have something up her sleeve, Seymour had guessed that from the start. But the sheer power of that form...it blew Seymour away. How could so much power be in such a small object? Nethertheless, he stood his ground, slowly absorbing more and more pyreflies. As he did so, his bodygaurd cast a protect on himself and Anima continued charging Oblivion. Seymour watched as the girl charged an attack, and sensed that it would be powerful. He needed a change of plans, but first had to do something that he didn't want to. "Anima."he said to the Aeon. She looked down at him, curious. "Stand down." Giving him a look that seemed full of ocnfusion, she stopped charging the attack and disappeared in a flurry of pyreflies. Seymour stepped where she had just been standing and said, "I had hoped that I wouldn't have to do this, but it appears I have no choice." He slammed his staff into the ground and raised his arms, the absorbed pyreflies circling him. At a motion o fhis arms, they all entered his body, and he could feel himself change. His whole body turned a white color, and some sort of apparatus appeared on his back. A large weapon also appeared on his right arm. (Meh, can't really describe. Here's a pic) He had become Seymour Natus, his weakest form, but still quite powerul. He knew the form wouldn't last long, so he had to get what he needed to do done quick. (He has 4 turns in this form, unless you think that's too much of a PowerPlay.) He charged a double-fire spell and cast it on Yuna, one htting fairly hard and the other just grazing her. Round two had begun. (OOC: LOL, I've played FFX-2, so I know that sphere. XD I abused that one so much! That and machina maw.)

You took my ♥ HEART ♥ x x DECIEVED me right from the start. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course Yuna had to save the best for last, what was Seymour expecting. That she would still be a summoner, that she would still be trying to defeat Sin. He was living in the past, this was two years after that. She had moved on with her life, at least tryed to. That spirit Shuyin would not leave her alone, he thought she was Lenne some summoner from a thousand years ago. At first she had thought it was Tidus, but the features had been all wrong. She was a sphere hunter now, and proud to be one. It had gotten her reunited with Tidus in the end, and she wasn't about to let Seymour ruin that. When he summoned Anima, the former summoner knew she couldn't stand up to such a Aeon without her own Aeons. So she went to the next best thing, and that was her special dressphere. As soon as she transformed, she charged up an attack. Her eyes watched as Seymour continued to absorb fireflies, his last guard casting protect. As she continued to charge the attack, Yuna noticed he told Anima to stand down. Why was he doing that, the Aeon disappeared into a flurry of pyreflies and the guado stepped into the spot where she once was. Her eyes never left Seymour, she had seen this move before. And she thought she would never see it again, but that wouldn't stop her from finishing this attack on him. Seeing him slam his staff into the ground, the pyreflies circling him and being absorbed as they entered his body Yuna knew what was coming. It had happened before when her guardians and her destroyed him way back when, Seymour Natus. If it was a show down he wanted, it was one she would fight to the end. The former summoner could hear the crack of the ice underneath her, soon the ice would melt and the water would flow freely again. Lucky for her, this form let her float in the air off the ground. Her attack charged, rays of light shot at Seymour hitting him twelve continuous times. Hopefully it did some damage to him, she then felt his own attack come right back at her. One hit her hard as she groaned abit from the impact, and the other only grazed her. She had to get this over with fast, she could only stay in this form for many two more rounds before she get's tired. "I won't let you win Seymour".[/blockquote]

"Ah, you don't seem to realize that the battle is already won." said Seymour, looking at her. If his form would have permitted it, he would have smirked. But he could not, so he let his eyes do the talking. "And I know just the way to finish this." Turning towards the shopuff, he raised his arms, a firey inferno growing between his hands. He didn't have much time to finish this attack, but he would do as much damaga as he could. "Accept your salvation!" he said, throwing the Fira spell at the creature-and the tourists upon it.
Internally, he smiled. He had already prepared another attack, saved for when the girl would move. If he was correct, this form would be weak against fire attacks, due to its floral appearence. As she would go to stop the fireball, he would hit her with the other and, hopefully, injure her. And if not, retreat was the only option. He held his fire at the ready, anticipating the moment.

What did he mean that this battle was already won, had her attack not even faze him. Yuna couldn't use the same attack again, at least not for another turn to come up. So for now she just cast a small healing spell, to fix the damage that had been done against her. It wasn't big but it was something, when that was done she kept her gaze upon the guado once more. But he had turned his attention away from her, and was aiming a attack for the Shopuff and the other tourists. Quickly she reverted back to her original form, the gunner form. Was it a foolish move, perhaps but she wasn't about to allow Seymour to hurt anyone else in Spira. Turning back towards Seymour, the former summoner saw him release the Fira spell. Quickly she changed into the black mage attire, charging up a watera spell a simple and quick one. Raising her own staff, she sent the spell right at the Fira spell. When the two hit, steam erupted from the force of the two causing a slight haze. It was good she got out of her floral sphere right away, if Seymour was using fire spells she would have suffered severe damage. Though Yuna was feeling the effects of changing from sphere to sphere. She couldn't keep this up much longer and had to rest soon, otherwise she would collapse here and now. "ENOUGH! Seymour enough of this, it's me you want not them. So leave them alone, please". It was her he wanted to take his revenge out on, it had been she that stopped him from getting his goal. Gripping the black mage staff tightly, she scowled at the Seymour Natus. Hearing a crack beneath her feet, Yuna could see that the ice was melting rather quick. It would be water once more, that meant she needed to get to shore and fast. She also felt the water beginning to shift, turning she saw the Shopuff turning to get out of the water. It must have gotten frightened by the Fira attack, and with the steam having created a haze on the water she could only make out the shoreline. "I'm not going to fight you, not anymore.". And with that said she quickly made a bee-line for the shore, hoping to make it before the ice gave way under her feet. With the Shopuff moving to get out of the water though, it was making getting to shore a little difficult. Yuna had to keep her balance on the somewhat still solid ice, and hoping she didn't fall into the water.[/blockquote]

Seymour Natus looked on at the girl, smiling. So she was now running away? But she wouldn't go far, not after she heard these words. "Very well then, run away!" he screamed, returning to his nromal form. "But if you run now, others will suffer in your place. Including that boy from Zanarkand. All of those that you love and care for will suffer and will be forced to suffer the same punishment that I had to suffer. I will send each and every one of them to the Farplane, and ensure they never return." He rose his staff, causing water to erupt from a crack in the ice around Seymour. He used this as a smokescreen and ran the other way.
He had other buisness to attend to, and the first of it would be on Mount Gagazet. Those silly Ronso were such a nuisance...
