NPCs:
vaan: like her brother. she loves him more than he knows, and she's tried to show him, but it just doesn't seem to click in his mind. the two were separated by a currently unknown event and penelo is trying very hard to get back to him.
ashe: like her sister--older sister who happens to rule a country. penelo met ashe four years ago because of vaan, and his insistence on getting a better life. the two had nothing in common when they first met, penelo was along for the ride, and ashe was trying to put her country back together. the two, eventually, became closer and developed their bond. since ashe has taken the throne, penelo has been unable to see her or even talk to her as much as she would like, but that is the price to pay for being royalty.
larsa: like her best friend, or little brother. they had met on several different occasions during their original mission and his help was invaluable during the attack on vayne, his older brother. after he reclaimed archadia, he took over responsibility of the country and had his work cut out for him, being only thirteen at the time. he's grown into a bright young man and penelo keeps in contact with him through letters.

[/size][/font]Kimahri: "He is such a kind person, I was glad he was the one to see what crashed into the mountain and not another Ronso that would have hurt me. I really didn't mean to hurt the mountain. He is a tall, quiet, and strong person, a truly magnificent being. Meeting him first thing on this new world helped my predicament tenfold. I hope one day I can pay him back for his kindness."
Cloud: "Cloud is a really...brooding person to me, I can tell that he has been through a lot in his past, and that he carries that with him, almost like Basch, because he doesn't let it go. He shoulders it. Cloud help me fight a fiend in the Calm Lands and I really appreciate it. I hope I can cheer him up somehow, in some way. I would settle for even a little smile...."
Genesis: "Genesis is...really intriguing to me. He is so sophisticated, and the sort to plan something. He reminds me a lot of Balthier, because of how meticulous he is, so I know he's from some sort of high class in the society he is from. He asked me to join him to destroy a monster that was upsetting the local territory it had moved into, and through team work we will reach our goal. And although he's included me in this, I feel that he has only told me half the story, like there is something else that he hasn't spoken for. And let's not even mention his vigilante....'redemption' thing I get from him. Like he feels he has to pay it back. I'm not sure it is even true, or if I am just making it up in my mind, but that's what I think. Hopefully I can get him to trust me though, because he shouldn't have to hide anything."
In the world of Gaia
[/font][/size]Serah: "I met her after I crashed the ship...again. She was really nice immediately, and seemed really lonely, so I figured we could not be lonely together, and we actually had a really nice evening. I hope I can help her get back to her fiancee and sister. And her world sounds cool, too! Maybe I can talk Vaan into--who am I kidding, he'll be begging me to go. I hope me and Serah can be friends even though we are from two different worlds, because she's really nice and we get along."
