This place, it was different to Gaia, yet so similiar. He could sense it, there was a lifeforce to this planet. A stream of Souls, a stream of life. Why would such a planet have such a thing. Terra surely hadn't tried to absorb this planet as well had it? That's impossible. Garland would have assured the planet be assimilated, not leave a Iifa tree system here. Could this perhaps be a sister planet of Terra? Only time would tell.
The Martyr of Ambition, the Perfect Genome, had found himself in this Canyon of sorts. The people here, seemed strangely enlightened, and knowledge way beyond there years. Kuja himself may have only been twenty four, but he had the knowledge of all that Terra had seen. He had grown powerful enough to destroy Terra, and had unleashed the Trance. He had gained the power of the Eidolons and had nearly assimilated all life on both Terra and Gaia. He had knowledge beyond his years, because he needed it.
Yet this planet intrigued him so. It did not possess from what he could tell, the power of the Eidolons, and id not have any true magickally talented people. This 'Lifestream' gave them their power. However he felt drained since leaving Gaia, and his seemingly eternal tomb at the essence of the Iifa tree. He found himself lounging in front of a flame. Planning what he would do next, what life would now entail for him. Would he assimilate life on this planet as well? Would he find a way to give him self eternal life? All these questions, and he couldn't answer one.

Demyx- Melodious Nocturn
'So THIS is Comso Canyon eh? Doesn't look much like a canyon though.' Demyx thought, walking along this stream of running water, playing his sitar. "Dance water, dance!" He yelled out grinning, and began to play his sitar, making water rise up and making shapes of people, and notes. The notes danced around him, and Demyx was conentrating on the right notes to notice a figure in the distance. He still continued to walk, making his sitar dispear and the water dropped down to the ground. He then stopped and crossed the river and came upon the edge of the ground, "So that's the canyon, long way down for a fall huh?" He said out jokingly, not paying attention to anythign except the canyon, but conitnued on. He saw this person standing practically in the middle of nowhere, "Hey! Who are you?" He yelled out, hoping to make him turn his hhead and look at Demyx, and Demyx quickened his pace, and stood onfront of this stranger, looking at him with his green eyes.

Kuja simply lounged there in front of the blazing fire that was before him. The sun was high in the sky, yet there was a slight chill to the air. As bizarre as it was, this flame was neither hot nor cold, but in fact a work of magick. It was a simply repeating burst of Flare, which gave the illusion of flame. To touch it however would be quite unwise, for the simple fact, the repeating Flare had destructive qualities, one being, the ability to seemingly tear the body apart by the particles that held it together.
The offered no warmth on this day it would seem, only a bright light, even still, it was enough to have a rest. It may have been, that Kuja was simply use to the heat of the desert, and simply wished for the luxury his Desert Palace had once provided, or that the energy from using the Iifa tree essence, to travel from his world to this one, left him severely deprived of his strength. He almost felt....mortal. That was impossible however, because no mortal could reach Trance, unless they too, stole the souls of thousands, and imbued themselves with them.
Slowly drifting away, thinking about what the monkey brother of his, Zidane would be doing, now that he has saved Gaia from it's destruction. From the destruction that was set in front of it at the hands of Garland, and Kuja himself. His thoughts took hold of his awareness and for several moments, was in a world of his own, or however some might say it. Only to be snapped back to this pitiful Canyon, in front of this rather large Canyon wall, which had doors set in the wall, which led to houses and rooms and corridors and all manner of things that the people here had grown quite attached to.
Kuja tried ignoring whoever had called out to him, and asked a rather useless question. Names were only good, if they were going to be remembered. Kuja had no need to be remembered here for that as soon as he had his rest, he would be traveling again, leaving this useless planet, if it did pique his interest ever so slightly with it's stream of life. Kuja however could not ignore this person, as they ever so rudely and obtrusively stepped in front of him and the Flare. Kuja's soft narrow light-blue eyes, simply landed upon the persons face. It was rather rude of him to intrude on Kuja at this time, and Kuja wasn't a man who took kindly to those intruding on his personal time. "Do you mind, your shadow stands in the way of the flame."

'Do you mind? Your standing in the way of the flame' Already Demyx began to get a feeling about this person, so he moved out of the way. Telling the guy wanted to be alon he walked over to a tree and leaned against it, and began to paly a slow tune on his sitar. He was thinking of a witty remark, and ahd an idea. Tossing a stick into the 'Flame' it just disntergrated and then he smirked, "That's not a flame at all." he said in his normal voice, not yet steaming with anger, and he sighed. He sat down and leaned against the tree, 'What a jerk the guy is.' He shook his head, must be a traveler, annoyed by Demyx's presence, well the raveler is going to have to deal with him a bit longer, and Demyx smirked, and had an iea. "Dance water dance!" He yelled out and splashed water over the light, making it go out, "Now what light of which you speak?" He asked standing, smirking at him and made his sitar disapear. *aahh crappy, and Demyx is gonna annoy the crap outta him for a bit longer!**

((You'll find that even in Kuja's weakened state, he wouldn't be annoyed quite so easily. Also, his magick is extremely powerful. Just so you know.))
Kuja once again, was at peace, or so it would seem. The man had this rather odd instrument, similiar to that of a guitar, but different in shape and sound. It seemed to lock in the air, more so the moisture in the air, and was able to control it. Kuja simply threw this off as a basic magick trick, that this man had come to know, and had gathered some mastery over. It wasn't the smartest thing in the world however, to show even small signs of power around a Sorcerer and a master of Magick like Kuja.
Then the man tested the repeating Flare, by throwing a stick into it. Flare ripped the stick apart, leaving no evidence that it had ever existed. The man now knew that it indeed was no flame. That wasn't the smartest thing he could have done either. He now knew that it was not a flame, but it mustn't have dawned on him, that if it wasn't a flame it would be much more powerful then one to rip a stick apart by the particles that made it up.
Then the man did something incredibly stupid in Kuja's eyes. He attempted to put out the flare. It was true it was quite draining on Kuja's power to keep it going, but it actually gave him some energy from the air it dissolved within itself. Shaking his head slightly Kuja focused his eyes upon the pit again, and bang! The flare returned. "That is the light of the flame I speak of."

He just found a little game he could pla, put out the 'flame' and he'd just light it back up, oh what fun! He started to play the sitar again, making the gound and area wround the small flame soaking wet. No he was just playing his sitar, waiting for the little game to happen, and he grinned again (well it was more like a smirk). "Hmm, I don't know, I don't see a falme." Sarcasm brimming his vice, and he placed his hand over his eyes, pretending to search for a light. "Nope, none here." and he continued playing his sitar, making clones and water notes dance around the two. He didn't plan on asking this guy his nam, nor did he plan on telling his. In his head, 'dance water dance!' rang through his head, tempting but no he thought, and continued to play.
